As a Software Engineer – AI, you will play a key role in developing production‑ready AI capabilities and strengthening the intelligence behind our products. This role requires working a hybrid schedule in Eagan, Minnesota.

About the Role In this role, you will:

Translate AI prototypes into high‑quality, production‑ready code that delivers measurable customer value.

Prepare and structure datasets for model development, testing, and evaluation.

Implement AI performance metrics to support data-driven iteration and prioritization.

Apply clean coding practices, including strong OOP fundamentals, SOLID principles, and common design patterns, to ensure maintainable and scalable AI-driven systems.

Contribute to agile development practices, including sprint planning, code reviews, and team ceremonies.

Stay curious and continuously learn, embracing new tools, frameworks, and best practices to accelerate innovation.

About You Must‑Have Qualifications These are the non-negotiables required for success:

Strong proficiency in .NET and C#, including hands‑on experience with the SDLC, SQL or Azure Data Store, and REST APIs.

Experience working with Generative AI, RAG, or Large Language Models (LLMs).

2–5 years of professional software engineering experience, primarily focused on backend development (front‑end or full‑stack experience is a plus).

Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming (OOP), including familiarity with common design patterns and solid proficiency with SOLID principles.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience (Master’s preferred).

Core Engineering Strengths

These strengths will help you succeed and grow quickly in our AI engineering environment:

Solid experience in backend software engineering.

Strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals, including clean architecture, OOP best practices, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

Ability to work in a cloud‑centric environment, especially with data-driven or AI-powered systems.

Familiarity with agile workflows and collaborative development practices.

Bonus Skills That Will Make You Stand Out These are not required but will elevate your impact:

Experience with machine learning, model evaluations, or AI model lifecycle management.

Exposure to UI development or full‑stack engineering.

Participation in solution discovery, architectural discussions, or early‑stage design.

Familiarity with agentic tools, deployment workflows, or metrics development.

Experience applying advanced design patterns, clean architecture, or domain‑driven design in production systems.
