Overview
The incumbent will provide assistance and advanced knowledge in both developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure that enables large-scale document processing with cloud native and customized machine learning models. The incumbent will work with full-stack developers to integrate a mix of unstructured financial documents (PDFs, Word Documents, CSVs/Excel workbooks, and images) into a cohesive AI processing pipeline and database. The incumbent will also develop a variety of customized agents and optimized prompts that are applied through the processing pipeline.
Responsibilities- Maintains the successful operation of production AI pipelines and databases
- Writing code in various software programming languages to interact with databases and information systems.
- Communicating information and ideas clearly and concisely, in writing, reading, and understanding information presented in writing.
- Works independently to execute projects or investigations as assigned.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with employees, representatives of governments, and the public.
- Python - 4 years minimum
- Flask and microservice architecture - at least one year
- Experience with GCP AI Client libraries (such as Vertex
AI, DocAI, etc.) - at least one year - Linux OS and CLI - Know how to use CLIs and develop in Linux OS environments (ssh/remote).
- SQL – 4 years (Google SQL and Big Query Preferred)
- Docker – 1 year.
- Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment - Git Hub + Google Cloud Build Preferred.
- LLM Engine Serving - vLLM, LM Studio, Ollama, llama.cpp, llama stack etc.
- Experience evaluating model transformers and whether there are safe tensors
. - Experience building, storing, and interfacing with vector embeddings stored in RAG Vector databases
- Strong understanding of Cloud computing, storage, and database fundamentals
. Google Cloud Platform preferred. - This position requires a four-year college degree or equivalent experience in computing, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
Hybrid. This position offers primarily remote work opportunities, with occasional office attendance required for staff meetings or presentations to key stakeholders.
