Senior Software Engineer

• Improve production performance in a Java/Angular code base
• Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks
• Help mature the software development life cycle
• Own loyalty platform integration points (live APIs, batch, queue)
• Partner with product owners and teammates in design and acceptance criteria
• Document configuration and business logic rules
• Coach and mentor other engineers
• Promote clean coding practices and patterns
• Estimate time accurately and scope work effectively
• Develop simple solutions to complex problems and suggest process improvements
• Collaborate cross‑functionally and with third parties

• 5+ years designing and developing Java/Spring applications (JDK 11+, Spring Boot)
• 3+ years building RESTful services (JSON)
• Experience with microservice cloud applications (Oracle, AWS, Azure)
• 3+ years working with SQL multi‑table queries (Oracle/Postgre

• SQL tuning and execution plan experience
• Agile familiarity (Scrum)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
• Experience in loyalty, accounting, or banking applications (preferred)
• Message queue knowledge (Rabbit

  MQ, Kafka Streams) (preferred)
• Docker and Kubernetes experience (preferred)
• Build tools (Bitbucket/Git, Gradle, Bamboo) (preferred)
