Embedded Software Engineer - Aerospace

Akkodis is recruiting for an Embedded Software Engineer - Aerospace for a manufacturer in the Grand Rapids, MI area. This is a remote contract position with a pay range of $65 an hour - $78 an hour depending on education, experience, and location.

Bachelors Degree with 8-12 years experience softwarea development in a LynxOS environment

• Experience in DO-178C software development processes and certification standards through the full software development lifecycle
• Embedded software development in C and C++, ADA
• Experience with Unix-like operating systems

• Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) Architectures & Transport Services Segment (TSS)/ I/O Services Segment (IOSS)
• Digital Signature Certificates/Signing
• Data Load and crating (Loadable Software Airplane Part packaging) experience
• TFTP experience
• Static Code Analysis
• Cyrotography
