This role will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling our automated test suites to ensure high-quality releases of our mobile applications.

This position can be located remotely anywhere in the U.S. with the client based in Dallas, Texas. Quarterly travel to Dallas, Texas may be required.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated UI test suites for Android applications in alignment with project requirements and company standards.
- Build scalable test automation frameworks aligned with best practices and development workflows.
- Work closely with Android and iOS engineers to identify test cases suitable for automation.
- Participate in code reviews for test scripts and contribute to continuous improvement of testing standards.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure issues are reproducible and well-documented.
- Set up and maintain device test environments including emulators and simulators.
- Rapidly learn and eventually take ownership of iOS UI test automation using XCUITest.
- Collaborate with QA, Product, and Engineering to define quality metrics and release readiness gates.
- 3+ years of experience in Android test automation using Espresso.
- Strong understanding of the Android ecosystem, Android Studio, ADB, Gradle, and Kotlin.
- Hands‑on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, and modular test code.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling, build pipelines, and automated test orchestration.
- Experience testing APIs, using tools like Postman or similar.
- Solid understanding of mobile QA methodologies, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle.
- Ability to work independently, own a test domain, and collaborate across teams.
- Experience with XCUITest and the iOS test automation ecosystem.
- Experience with Appium or other cross‑platform UI automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with Swift or Swift
UI and willingness to expand into iOS automation. - Knowledge of performance, accessibility, or security testing for mobile applications.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit‑based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 – $.
