Job Title: Dev Ops Engineer III
Location: REMOTE (EST/CST)

• Ability to manage metadata deployments and resolve conflicts
• CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
• Salesforce Dev Ops tools (Salesforce CLI, VS Code)
• Version control systems (Git)

Critical Deliverables:

• Configured Dev Ops pipeline for migration and code deployments.
• Deployment packages for all environments.
• Rollback and contingency plans for releases.
• Documentation of Dev Ops processes and environment setup.

Required Expertise:

• Experience with Salesforce Dev Ops tools (Salesforce CLI, VS Code)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Ability to manage metadata deployments and resolve conflicts.

• Build and maintain the production infrastructure and services.
• Ensure proper security for the infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Develop/maintain processes, tools, and documentation in support of production.
• Participate in the evaluation of new software, hardware, and infrastructure solutions.
• Experience as an engineer working with large distributed systems.
• Experience with a variety of scripting languages for automating tasks, generating reports, and creating tools (e.g. Go, Java, Python, Perl, Shell).
• Experience with a continuous integration and delivery model of deploying software.
• Automation skills with Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt Stack or similar.
• Experience with one or more of the following: PHP, Go, Python, Scala, Ruby, Java script, Memcached, LAMP, nginx, node.js, nosql, Varnish.
• Working knowledge of software development methodologies including code profiling, regression testing, continuous integration and push button deployments.
• Experience as either a LAMP stack software developer and/or systems administrator/systems engineer.
• Experience with high‑availability, high‑performance, open source web technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms, open source databases and caching layers.
• Automates all infrastructure build out in AWS utilizing Ansible, Packer, and Terraform.
• Distributed Systems, DFS, Kubernetes (k8s), SARM, Mesosphere, Docker, Services Discovery, Container Orchestration, DFW, Apache, Spark, Hadoop, CLI, API, Dev Ops, Consul, vault, and microservice.

• Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in scripting and development.
• Experience with open source monitoring and alerting systems.
• Experience with web applications.
• IP networking experience, LB technologies.
• Experience with systems automation.
• Experience with big data systems.
