Senior QA Automation Engineer - Remote; FinTech Focus

Job Summary

Global MNC Tech, a leading multinational technology company driving innovation in financial technology, is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our Fin Tech products. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to deliver world-class financial solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications in the Fin Tech domain.

• Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test strategies.

• Execute functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

• Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools.

• Continuously improve QA processes, automation strategies, and test coverage to accelerate delivery without compromising quality.

• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, sharing best practices in test automation and quality assurance.

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and release readiness reviews.

• Strong experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript) for test automation scripting.

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Dev Ops practices.

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or similar) and automated testing integration.

• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL for validation of backend systems.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years focused on automation testing

• Prior experience in Fin Tech or financial software development/testing is highly desirable.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture is a plus.

• Fully remote position with flexible working hours aligned to your time zone.

• Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Ability to write maintainable, reusable, and efficient automated test scripts.
