• Build performant and scalable backend applications using various object-oriented programming languages in a cloud-based microservice architecture
• Translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions
• Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment
• Participate in code reviews to maintain and improve code quality
• Attend a weekly 24x7 on-call rotation to address system issues promptly

• Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a closely related quantitative discipline
• Six (6) months of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, SQL, and API technologies such as REST, Graph
  
  QL, and/or gRPC
• Experience with microservices, container-based technology (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud services
• Familiarity with relational (Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL) and No
  
  SQL databases (Dynamo
  
  DB, Redis, Mongo
  
  DB)

• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or SCRUM
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and design patterns
