Test Automation Engineer

Overview

Description: Our client is a leading connectivity and media organization serving millions of customers across the United States. The company operates at national scale and delivers internet, television, and related services for residential and business customers. This role is hybrid: 4 onsite / 1 work from home in Englewood, CO. For our W2 consultants, a comprehensive benefits package is offered (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with company matching, life insurance).

Rate: $43.00 to $53.00/hr w2

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Java, Cucumber, and TestNG.
• Create and run manual test cases for functional and API validation.
• Perform end-to-end validation across services and integrations.
• Author and maintain test scripts and frameworks to support continuous releases.
• Implement and run Bash scripts to support testing and deployments.
• Collaborate with development teams to triage defects and improve quality.
• Support deployment activities as part of release validation.

• 3 to 5 years of software testing experience.
• Proficiency with end-to-end testing principles and validation.
• Basic programming skills in Java or Python.
• Hands-on test automation experience with Java, Cucumber, and TestNG.
• Hands-on scripting experience with Bash.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure.
• Knowledge of API manual testing.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to learn.
