• Design, build, and maintain web applications, APIs, backend services, and lambdas for the employer's product line
• Solve technical issues for merchants, partners, and internal teams to ensure exceptional user experience
• Develop automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver well-rounded solutions
• Contribute to maintaining a healthy continuous integration and deployment process

• 2-4+ years of experience building web applications, backend services, or APIs using modern tooling
• Demonstrated hands-on experience building and maintaining production software
• Understanding of technical decisions and ability to evaluate trade-offs between implementation options
• Experience in environments with continuous integration and deployment
• Familiarity with agile development practices and collaboration with product managers and design teams

• Experience with PHP/Laravel, AWS Serverless, or Vue.js
• Exposure to test-driven and/or behavior-driven development practices
• Ability to share examples of learning from mistakes and growing through feedback
