React Native Engineer

Interviews Chat is an AI platform that helps people ace their job interviews. Our Interview Copilot listens to live meetings and provides real-time answers and suggestions. We’re scaling fast, trusted by thousands of professionals worldwide, and building new products (Chrome extension, mobile app, desktop app) to reach even more users.

We’re looking for a React Native Engineer to build and own the mobile experience of Interviews Chat on iOS and Android. You’ll be responsible for turning our core product into a fast, reliable, and polished mobile app that users can trust during high-stakes moments like job interviews.

This role owns mobile end-to-end — from UX and performance to store releases.

• Build and maintain our iOS and Android apps using React Native.
• Implement product features in close collaboration with backend and full-stack engineers.
• Ensure smooth performance, stability, and native-feeling UX on mobile devices.
• Handle mobile-specific concerns like permissions, background behavior, and app lifecycle.
• Prepare and manage App Store and Play Store releases.
• Debug and fix mobile-specific issues reported by users.

• Strong experience building production apps with React Native.
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and performance.
• Experience integrating APIs and working with real-time or near-real-time data.
• Comfort working independently and owning a platform end-to-end.
• Good written communication in English.

• Experience with iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) native modules.
• Experience with audio, media, or real-time features on mobile.
• Experience working in early-stage startups or small teams.
