Overview
Data Engineer (Remote - US) job ote. This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Engineer in United States.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to manage growing data volume and complexity.
- Build and integrate APIs to support internal and external data consumption.
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models and support business intelligence tools.
- Implement monitoring systems to ensure data quality and accuracy across all production data sources.
- Work with engineering teams and business units to define long-term data platform strategy.
- Perform root cause analysis on data and processes to answer business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support data initiatives for machine learning, reporting, financial analysis, and marketing optimization.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of Python experience and 5+ years of SQL experience.
- 3+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
- 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud services, including S3, Lambda, RDS, Step Functions, and Redshift.
- 5+ years of experience developing data pipelines with PySpark or AWS Glue; AWS Certification preferred.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Preferred: experience with MSSQL, SSIS, SQL Studio, cloud development (AWS/GCP), data lakes, data warehouses, streaming platforms, and public records integration.
