Chicago, IL (you can work from home up to 2x/week)

The company's product involves vertical SaaS, proptech, construction, and ERP. The product is used in 48 states, and revenue has tripled in the last year. The company is making the construction industry more efficient.

The company has raised series A Funding. It has about 20 employees and 7 engineers. It is hiring rapidly, with plans to double in size by the end of this year.

The company is targeting a compensation range with a salary of $150-200k, and equity of 0.1%-0.25%.

• Working as a full stack engineer, and depending on your preference could be anywhere from 80% front end to 80% backend.
• The tech stack includes Type Script, Next.js, and React.
• Designing, building, and innovating. Leading and contributing to greenfield projects, developing new features and products from scratch.
• Collaborating closely. Working closely with our product and support teams to ensure we are solving the right problems.
• Customer-centric development. Having high empathy for our users, consistently seeking feedback and iterating on our products to improve their experience.
• Business-minded decision making:
  Making daily decisions on when we should invest in more sound architecture, leverage vendors and integrations or cut corners and scope to deliver functionality to our customers.
• Optimizing and Delivering. Participating in a lean and fast-moving development process that is consistently iterated and improved upon.

• Energized by delivering real value to customers, and seeing your work actively used in the wild.
• AI-forward. Skilled with using AI tools to move faster, and excited to integrate AI into product workflows where it meaningfully improves outcomes.
• End-to-end ownership, from understanding a real customer problem, to shaping the solution, to shipping it, and ensuring it succeeds.
• A high-caliber full-stack engineer (Senior/Staff/Principal level) with deep expertise in Type Script and modern web engineering. You’re fluent in core technologies across our stack, and excited to push the boundaries of what great product experiences can be.
• Strong architectural judgment - understanding patterns, tradeoffs, and when to apply rigor vs. when to optimize for speed. Able to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teammates, elevating shared understanding.
• Product sense - the intuition to prioritize what matters, make pragmatic tradeoffs, and ship iteratively without compromising long-term quality.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity, adapting approaches quickly as we learn and grow.
• A track record of shipping meaningful product in small, high-velocity teams - work you can point to that made a difference for customers.
