Java Tech Lead – EV Charging

This role involves working with the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) and building Java‑based microservices to integrate third‑party EV charging systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience in EV charging, Java, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud solutions.

• Collaborate with third‑party vendors to onboard their Charging Management System with the connected vehicle intelligence system.
• Design, scope, and present the integration architecture and approach.
• Configure the system according to the agreed interoperability mechanism.
• Develop integration interfaces.
• Work with the QA team to define, validate, and test end‑to‑end functional and load test scenarios.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.

• 10‑12 years of IT software industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing EV industry solutions.
• Deep experience in the EV charging domain and onboarding partners’ EV chargers.
• Expertise in the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP), including specification, architecture, client/server implementation, and testing tools.
• Expertise in integrating third‑party EV chargers using OCPP and other communication protocols.
• Experience designing and developing customer‑facing multi‑tenant SaaS applications.
• Experience building cloud‑based solutions on AWS.
• Strong background in Java, Spring Boot, AWS SQS, REST API, Web Socket, and API‑driven microservice architecture.
• Proficiency in handling large data volumes.
• Primary skill:
