Salesforce Integration Specialist

Contract length: 6+ months

• Relocate onsite within 2 months of acceptance.
• Lead technical design sessions to identify integration requirements and processes.
• Translate client requirements into Salesforce designs, leveraging best practices and minimizing the need for custom development.
• Participate in discovery meetings with key stakeholders to define and document functional requirements.
• Analyze requirements to determine appropriate solution designs, considering capabilities, limitations, and design trade‑offs.
• Determine when to use APIs versus other integration methods.
• Build integrations to achieve client business objectives.
• Design, develop, test, and implement API solutions to integrate disparate business systems in a multi‑tier environment.
• Implement data solutions including big data management strategies, data migrations, and data cleansing.
• Collaborate with developers on custom solutions and manage technical scope and client expectations.
• Design and execute detailed test plans to ensure the highest possible quality of deliverables.
• Document user acceptance tests and maintain documentation of all application integrations and custom development.
• Provide functional leadership and best‑practice guidance on the Salesforce platform.
• Work closely with the development team to implement solutions based on Salesforce integration patterns.
• Collaborate with the project management team to communicate technical issues and drive timely resolutions.

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development.
• 5+ years of direct experience integrating to Salesforce, including Sales and Services Clouds.
• Demonstrated experience integrating systems using APIs (REST, SOAP).
• Proven ability to design, develop, test, and implement APIs using best practices, patterns, and versioning.
• Knowledge of integration tools and ETL with Salesforce.
• Experience with third‑party integration tools and middleware such as KAFKA, SNAP, TIBCO.
• Strong data management skills, including data consolidation, de‑duplication, and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Excellent problem‑solving, project management, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, juggling multiple projects, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Experience working in an agile environment.

• Experience with middleware technologies such as KAFKA, SNAP, TIBCO.
