We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a venture‑funded startup currently transitioning from an enterprise sales model to a high‑growth B2C bottom‑up approach.

We have reached product‑market fit with hundreds of paying clients (including major US construction companies) and are undertaking a major revamp of our web platforms to support an anticipated surge to millions of users by year's end. You will be instrumental in building the “buffer” against this massive growth, filling critical gaps in our testing infrastructure, and architecting a pixel‑perfect, highly performant Next.js

application.

• Frontend:
  Next.js (deployed on Vercel), React (Advanced), Tailwind CSS
• Build Tools:
  Vite (migrating away from Webpack)
• UI Libraries:
  Headless UI, Radix, shadcn
• Testing:
  Vitest (V-test suite)

• Architect for B2C Scale:
  Lead the technical overhaul of our web platform to accommodate a shift from hundreds of clients to hundreds of thousands of users
• Close the Testing Gap:
  Immediately address our lack of unit and UI testing. You will own the implementation of a robust testing strategy using Vitest
• Advanced React Development:
  Go beyond basics. We need deep expertise in custom hooks, the React Compiler, and advanced state management to build complex tools that workers want to use
• Database & Auth Integration:
  Work directly with SQL databases (specifically Planet Scale and Supabase) and implement various complex authentication flows
• AI‑Assisted Development:
  Utilize AI tools daily to increase output velocity. However, you must apply a “human‑first” thought process to problem‑solving before engaging AI to ensure high‑quality architectural decisions and avoid “erosion of thought”

• Senior/Principal Expertise: 8‑10+ years of experience, with a specific focus on scaling Next.js applications in a production environment
• True Type Script Proficiency: You must have deep, genuine expertise in Type Script, not just a passing familiarity
• Modern Frontend Mastery: Experience with Tailwind, Vite, and headless UI libraries (e.g., Radix, shadcn) is required
• Strong Data Background: You must be comfortable writing complex SQL queries and integrating with modern database providers like Planet Scale and Supabase
• Security & Compliance: Experience working within SOC 2 (Type I/II) and GDPR compliant environments is a plus
