This position is primarily a Desktop Application Software Engineer role with some exposure to cloud and web technologies.

The engineer will spend most of their time:

• Building and maintaining Windows desktop applications
• Using C#, .NET, WPF, and Windows Forms
• Integrating inspection & control features for machinery (likely hardware‑heavy or industrial systems)

This is NOT a typical web developer or mobile developer role—it's strongly desktop‑focused.

• C# / .NET
• WPF & Win Forms
• SQL
• Experience with desktop UI frameworks
• Ability to work with hardware‑related application features (machine control, inspection tools)

• Experience with Aura Platform (used in railroad tie inspection systems)
• Interest in cloud integration and web technologies for future projects

• Strong background in Windows desktop application engineering
• Comfortable with industrial or machine‑related software
• Able to modernize older codebases (C#, Python, SQL)
• Willing to grow toward cloud & web integration long-term
