Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer
Position Overview
Serve as an expert technical leader in designing, developing, and implementing cutting edge software solutions that drive business innovation and efficiency. Lead across multiple domains and/or value streams to advise and recommend solutions to technical design problems.
Responsibilities- Lead software engineering and analyst groups that design, code, test, and deploy software.
- Provide technical direction, mentoring, and support to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practice in coding, architecture, and development methodologies.
- Develop prototypes and solutions leveraging a diverse range of technology.
- Advise in the application of modern architectures, principles, methodologies, tools, and systemic processes to support the launch of new business capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, define technical solutions, and contribute to long term product strategies.
- Research and integrate emerging technologies to enhance application capabilities and overall system architecture.
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
- Perform other duties as required.

Actual pay is determined by job‑related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, such as experience, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment.

Colorado Springs, Grand Junction $103,880 – $181,790;
Henderson, Mead $103,880 – $181,790;
Gypsum $103,880 – $181,790
Illinois Pay Ranges:
Effingham, Kankakee, Lincoln, Quincy, Rockford, Aurora $103,880 – $181,790;
Bolingbrook, Chicago Heights, Des Plaines, Elmhurst, Forest View, Joliet, Schaumburg, Summit‑Argo, Zion, Buffalo $103,880 – $181,790
New York Pay Ranges:
Plattsburgh, Buffalo, Watertown, North Chili, East Syracuse, Nichols $103,880 – $181,790;
Bethpage, Montgomery, West Babylon $103,880 – $181,790
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or other quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Seven (7) years’ experience in information technology or engineering environment.
- Expertise in programming languages.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, microservices, and cloud computing platforms.
- Strong leadership, customer and people development skills.
- Strong problem solving, project management and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Some travel.
While this is a remote position, the successful candidate must reside within 50 miles of a Fed Ex Freight location within the continental U.S.
