What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, deploy, and maintain mission-critical applications using Go and Java
- Provide support and technical advice during all phases of software development
- Make system design decisions and implement enhancements to existing systems
- Collaborate with other developers and perform QA/testing as needed
- Utilize Agile methodologies and contribute to the CI/CD pipeline
What is Required (Qualifications):
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5+ years of development experience with at least one of the following languages:
Java, Golang, C#, or C++ - Experience in Agile development methodology
- DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability
- Past experience with database programming using SQL
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience implementing and configuring Dev Ops solutions
- Familiarity with Gitlab and the merge/release process to CICD pipeline
- Experience in Bash/Shell scripting and XML/JSON processing
- Knowledge of microservices frameworks and Docker
- Proven track record of self-learning and staying current with latest development techniques
