REMOTE- Senior Back End.Net Developer

Overview

An employer is looking for a Senior Back End .Net Developer to sit remotely. You will be focused on assisting with development efforts tied to a large, application modernization project. The client is moving an enterprise application related to federal vehicle maintenance and support into a new Azure based environment. You will partner closely with the tech lead and architecture teams to understand requirements and engineer new microservices, APIs, and enterprise integrations for the migration and new environment.

You will assist with related testing efforts and ensure alignment with product teams. Additional tasks include API enhancements, production support issues, and coordinating with offshore teams.

• Collaborate with tech lead and architecture teams to understand requirements and design solutions for migration to Azure-based environment.
• Engineer new microservices, APIs, and enterprise integrations for the modernization project.
• Assist with related testing efforts and ensure alignment with product teams.
• Perform API enhancements and address production support issues.
• Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure smooth delivery and integration.

• 8+ years of experience in back end .NET development.
• Strong proficiency with .NET Core and C#.
• Experience building microservices, REST APIs, and integrations.
• Strong ETL skills leveraging Azure Data Factory.
• MS SQL and Azure skills.
• Experience with Azure Service Factory.

• Supply chain, logistics, or trucking industry experience.

Experience related to modernizing and migrating applications to cloud-based environments, particularly Azure.
