Identity/Access Management (IAM) System Developer

VEC Identity Development

This IAM System Developer designs, codes, tests, debug, and documents software such as SailPoint. The role implements small to large projects and requires the ability to solve medium‑to‑complex problems. The position is full‑time and can be performed remotely from most U.S. locations.

• Develop or modify software.
• Ensure appropriate documentation for all development and modification.
• Ensure integrity and security of institutional data.
• Assist in creating design/implementation specifications and translate these into working code.
• Attend daily SCRUM meetings featuring existing SailPoint IIQ releases.
• Attend design and testing sessions – work with the QA team.
• Deliver code in a timely fashion to meet release deadlines.
• Perform developer testing in sandbox and dev environments.
• Assist with packaging code into the release build.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

• Identity/Access Management products and technologies.
• Web services (SOAP, REST) and cloud integration experience.
• SQL skills (Oracle preferred).
• Unit and integration testing experience.
• JavaScript, Java application development.
• Object‑oriented concepts & design patterns.
• Hibernate, Maven.
• Modern authentication methods and protocols such as SSO, MFA, SAML2, OAuth/OIDC.
• Microsoft Entra .
• Dev Ops tools like Bamboo, JIRA, Bit Bucket or similar.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
