Java Full Stack developer

As a Java Full Stack developer with at least 9+ years of experience , you will make an impact by designing and developing scalable, cloud-native applications and microservices using modern technologies. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and collaborate closely with architects, Dev Ops engineers, and front-end developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and implementing major components for large projects.
• Work with client and need to understand the requirements
• Convert the requirement into modernization
• Need to understand and work with modernization Java, Spring boot, microservices, SQL, AWS cloud
• Excellent programming skills in open source technologies
• Develop and deploy the application
• Need to support the project end‑end.

• Strong Java programming experience (minimum 9+ years experience)
• Strong hands‑on experience in Microservices, RESTful web services development in Java (Spring Boot or equivalent framework)
• Excellent programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, cloud, React, Next.js, Node.js
• Expert experience with design, development, testing, deployment, and support of large‑scale high throughput mission

• Experience in Banking and critical payments applications is highly preferred.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security is preferred.

The annual salary for this position is between $54,000- $80,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
