Software Engineer, Distributed Systems - C++ / Object Oriented Software

• Do you have good Systems level understanding of software and good exposure to Distributed Systems?
• Do you want to live and work in the beautiful country of Switzerland?

We're looking for a number of Software Engineers for Distributed Systems to work on a fully remote basis in Switzerland (or onsite/hybrid in Zurich, your choice) for our client, a very interesting US HQ'd company that are focused on developing a programming framework for developing distributed applications.

As a Software Engineering you will work on the whole development process taking a feature from idea to production, driving the design, implementing, testing, documenting and supporting customers.

For these roles, we can only consider applicants that hold EU passports or already have the Right to Work in Switzerland.

Required skills:

• Strong object oriented software design skills.
• Experience of working / programming in large and complex code basis
• Strong coding skills in C++ is a plus.
• Experience in distributed systems or applications highly desirable.
• Working experience with Linux-based development environments.
• BSc in Computer Science or related technical field with software emphasis is required.
