Software Engineer, App Developer - Mobile/Web
We are looking for:
an iOS engineer to join our Tech team in Romania.

As a key member of our tech team, you’ll play a crucial role in providing our users with a smooth experience through VOLKSWAGEN products.
- Product Development: Iteratively work on product priorities while improving the performance, stability, and testability of iOS applications, through clean architecture and scalable code.
- Best Practices Advocate: Promote best practices and address technical challenges of mobile engineering.
- Collaborative Design: Develop and influence the final look and feel of our products together with the product team.
- Process Improvement: Continuously work to improve mobile application design, implementation, and delivery processes.
- Technical Leadership: Help shape and advance the technical culture at voya, defining every interaction users have with our products and services.

Summary
:
- Have 4+ years of experience with iOS mobile application development, including a solid understanding of Clean Architecture and MVVM
- Be a citizen / long-term resident of Romania
- Our company's language is English - you need to be able to speak and write it fluently
- Be well-versed in Swift UI & Combine
, with a deep understanding of iOS SDK, including associated frameworks, techniques and CI/CD tools - Have 4+ years of experience with mobile application development, including a good understanding of MVVM architecture
- Be comfortable to dive into specifics and sort out complex technical challenges
- Enjoy working with agile methodologies
- Comfortably push for good test coverage – be familiar with unit and UI testing, e.g. testability of View Models
- Have excellent collaboration skills, as there are cross-team dependencies and integration work
- Drive integration of new technologies, clean coding principles and best practices, while staying highly aligned with the product and company goals
- Strong communication & collaboration skills.
- Problem-solving mindset - tackle challenges and contribute to finding solutions.
- Team player who works well in a collaborative environment.
- Willingness to travel several times per year for on-site workshops and team meetings.
