Developer II; Remote

Job Description

The Application Developer II (ADII) will, with minimal supervision, work closely with customers, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget.

• Develop and design software solutions.
• Must be fluent in web development technologies.
• Modify existing software to correct errors or adapt to new requirements.
• Should have experience with software development life cycle processes such as:
  Analysis and requirements definition, Code development, Integration, testing and release management, Deployment/implementation Management/maintenance (version control, change control procedures, release processes, etc.).
• Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
• Works on projects as assigned.
• Maintains documentation of all activities and test results according to department policy.
• Acts as a resource to Centra staff in the proper operation and access to data.
• Expected participation in x on-call rotation.

  Education:
  
  High School Diploma / GED
• Preferred Education:
  
  Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
• Required Experience:
  
  Typically two (2) to five (5) years of work experience
• Required Certifications and Licensures:
  Valid Virginia Driver's License
