About the role
As a Mid‑Level iOS Engineer, you will make an impact by designing and delivering high‑quality, intuitive, and secure iOS mobile experiences. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and collaborate closely with product partners, designers, and other developers to create scalable, user‑centric applications.
In this role, you will:- Design, build, and test rich and interactive features for native iOS applications.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather, clarify, and refine software requirements.
- Lead development efforts for assigned components or features, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and help uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision‑making.

What you need to have to be considered- 4+ years of experience in native iOS development.
- Proficiency with Swift and Objective‑C.
- Strong debugging and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience building features for large‑scale or enterprise iOS applications.
- Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks, UIKit/Swift
UI, mobile architecture patterns, and development best practices. - Ability to contribute to technical design and mentor other developers.

The annual salary for this position is between $65,000 - $94,500
, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
