The Senior Engineering Manager will lead and mature. our software engineering team and help build products from the ground up in our expanding engineering organization. The Senior Engineering Manager will span full stack, front end, and mobile, and data engineers and will be a crucial component in all facets of software design, development, and hosted cloud infrastructure.
The Technology team is fully remote, however, working in the Central or Eastern time zone is required and working in the Cleveland/Akron/Canton area is desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities- Partner with product, operations, and executive team to help guide Deliver That through a phase of fast paced growth and change.
- Work with CTO to Lead the engineering team in building out our AI SDLC practice which will revolutionize our speed to market
- Solve problems for our drivers, merchants, and integrated partners, all in an effort to drive exceptional end consumer experiences
- Have heavy influence on the tools used, processes that are put in place, and overall team design
- Provide architectural guidance and professional development for the entire engineering organization
- Oversee the hiring process for your team
- At least 3 years of experience leading and managing dynamic full‑stack engineering teams comprising backend, web, and mobile, and data engineers
- At least 5 years of hands‑on industry experience as a software engineer in fast‑paced, product‑centric environments, preferably with a node.js/Typescript environment
- Experience adopting AI into the SDLC to improve efficiency of the product and engineering team
- Strong experience with distributed system design, scalability, performance optimization, and implementing robust security measures to ensure the integrity of our systems
