Mid-Level Front-End Developer; Angular​/.NET Environment

Position: Mid-Level Front-End Developer (Angular / .NET Environment)
* Job Overview:
* Forthright is seeking a mid-level front-end developer with strong Angular experience to help build and maintain modern web applications within a stable, enterprise .NET environment. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working primarily on the front end, collaborating closely with backend systems, and contributing to gradual modernization efforts.

Experience with the backend would be a plus.

* Remote with periodic in-office collaboration (Minneapolis, MN 55416)

We offer a remote work environment, with an initial onboarding period that includes required in-person office days to support training and team integration. After onboarding, there may be occasional requests to work onsite for team collaboration, planning, or key project milestones.

* What You’ll Do:

* * Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive web applications using Angular, Type Script, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS

* Collaborate with backend developers and business stakeholders on new development as well as enhancements to existing systems and APIs

* Enhance and modernize user interfaces while supporting established production applications

* Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following established best practices

* Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements discussion, development, testing, and deployment

* Contribute to automation, analytics, and usability improvements across internal systems

* Use AI-assisted development tools (such as Git Hub Copilot) to improve productivity and code quality

* SSRS reporting

* Existing .NET-based applications

_Experience with these is helpful but not required; familiarity or willingness to learn is sufficient._

* Experience:

* * 3-5 years of professional experience in front-end or web application development

* Experience working in an enterprise or production environment with established systems

* * Strong proficiencey in Angular and Type Script

* Solid understanding of modern front-end development practices

* Experience collaborating with backend systems and APIs
