Remote Datacap Administrator; Part Time

Job Description

An execute state agency is looking for an IBM Datacap Administrator to join their team within their Electronic Content Management area. They are seeking a highly skilled IBM Datacap Administrator/Developer to support and enhance the enterprise IBM Datacap environment within a broad ECM ecosystem that includes IBM File Net Content Manager, IBM Datacap, and IBM Enterprise Records. In this role, the administrator/developer will manage a multi‑tenant Datacap environment serving multiple state agencies, design and develop applications in Datacap Studio, configure Rule runner tasks, build custom Datacap applications using C#/.NET,

and implement recognition technologies including ICR, OCR, and OMR. The position requires experience deploying and maintaining applications on IBM Web Sphere and IIS Server, configuring SSL certificates, implementing Datacap Navigator for end‑user verification, and managing Datacap workflows. The role also includes configuring integrations such as File Net P8 export actions and custom web services, as well as deploying Datacap application packages across Dev, Stage, and Production environments while keeping systems current with fix packs and upgrades.

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the ECM Infrastructure and Enterprise Records teams on content loading, integration, and records management, with IBM Atlas experience considered a plus. Responsibilities also include maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, preparing deployment materials according to ECM standards, and providing agency support. Strong technical skills in Windows server administration, networking fundamentals, technical documentation, analytical thinking, and effective planning and time management are essential for success in this role.

• Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during normal business hours
