Java FullStack Software Engineer

Overview

Employer Industry: Medical Education and Research Association

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services in Java/Spring Boot within a microservices architecture
• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly UIs using modern frameworks such as Angular
• Deploy and operate applications in AWS cloud using services like EKS, ECS, and Lambda
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, enhancing automated test coverage
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and UX designers to refine requirements and deliver features

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience
• 4 - 5 years of related work experience in software development
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development
• Hands-on AWS experience with services such as EKS, ECS, Lambda, and Cloud Watch
• Strong SQL/database background with Postgres and Oracle

• Experience with event-driven architectures (SNS/SQS, Kafka)
• Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code (Cloud Formation/Terraform)
• Agile/Scrum development experience
• Ability to mentor junior developers or lead small cross-functional efforts
