Job Summary:

The Application Development Summer Associate will support the Application Development team on active and upcoming initiatives that impact the business. This hands-on role provides exposure to the full application development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, development, automation, and documentation. By the end of the summer, the associate will have a strong foundational understanding of how a collaborative development team operates in a real-world business environment.

Responsibilities:

* Perform data comparison and analysis to support application enhancements and business decisions.

* Partner with team members to gather business requirements and translate them into clear technical requirements.

* Research and evaluate market-based software solutions versus in-house development options; present findings and recommendations.

* Support the use of automation tools to streamline, optimize, and document workflows.

* Assist in coding, testing, and documenting new features and enhancements to existing applications based on technical specifications.

* Contribute to process documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

* Complete additional projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or part of a technology training program or bootcamp.

* Foundational understanding of programming concepts; exposure to .NET is preferred.

* Familiarity with source control concepts and code documentation best practices.

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Visio.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

* Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

* Energetic, curious, and eager to learn while contributing in a collaborative team environment.

* Reliable transportation required.

This role follows a hybrid schedule requiring three (3) days in the office in Warrensville Heights, OH and two (2) days working from home.
