As an AWS Software Developer at Cloudelligent, you’ll design, build, and deploy modern cloud-native applications that drive digital transformation for our clients. Working closely with Solutions Architects and Dev Ops engineers, you’ll help modernize legacy systems into scalable, serverless, and event-driven solutions on AWS. This role is ideal for a hands‑on developer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys working across a variety of technologies and client projects.

Develop and implement scalable, cloud‑native applications using AWS services and modern frameworks.

Modernize legacy systems (e.g., .NET, Java, or on‑prem workloads) into microservices, containers, or serverless architectures.

Collaborate with Solutions Architects to translate business requirements into technical implementations.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts using AWS Developer Tools, Git Hub Actions, or Jenkins.

Write Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) templates with Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.

Develop APIs, microservices, and event‑driven systems for leveraging services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions.

Integrate backend services with data stores like Dynamo

DB, Aurora, or RDS.

Collaborate with data and AI/ML teams to embed machine learning or generative AI capabilities using services like Sage Maker or Bedrock.

Ensure applications adhere to AWS best practices for security, performance, and cost efficiency.

Troubleshoot and optimize applications for scalability, reliability, and performance.

Stay current with new AWS services, frameworks, and cloud‑native development trends.

6+ years of experience in application development, with at least 3 years on AWS.

Proven experience modernizing legacy applications or building microservices/serverless applications.

Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, C#, or Go).

Proficient in front‑end development in modern frameworks such as:
React, Angular, and Vue.js.

Hands‑on experience with containers (Docker, ECS, EKS) and serverless (Lambda, API Gateway).

Experience with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD tools (AWS Code Pipeline, Git Hub Actions, or Jenkins).

Familiarity with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) using Terraform or Cloud Formation.

Understanding of AWS application services such as Dynamo

DB, App Runner, Step Functions, SQS, and SNS.

Familiarity with integrating AI/ML or Generative AI services (Sage Maker, Bedrock, or OpenAI APIs).

Strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills with a passion for clean, maintainable code.

AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.

Experience working in client‑facing consulting or agile delivery environments.
