As a Senior Workday Integration Developer with deep expertise in Payroll and Benefits integrations, you will design, develop, and support complex Workday integration solutions using Workday Studio, Inbound/Outbound EIBs, Core Connectors, data conversions, and custom reporting. Payroll configuration experience is a strong plus. Ideal candidates have hands‑on technical depth, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to translate business needs into reliable integrations.

• Design and development of complex Workday integrations using:
  • Workday Studio – Experience with Greenhouse integration is preferred
  • Inbound and Outbound EIBs (with strong focus on Inbound EIBs)
  • Core Connectors (Payroll, Benefits, HCM)
• Own end‑to‑end integration delivery for Payroll and Benefits vendors, including requirements gathering, technical design, testing, deployment, and post‑production support
• Design and execute data conversion strategies leveraging Inbound EIBs, Studio, and staging approaches for payroll, benefits, and HCM data
• Develop and optimize Workday reports and calculated fields to support inbound integrations, data validation, and reconciliation
• Partner with Payroll, Benefits, HR, and IT teams to translate functional requirements into scalable integration solutions
• Proactively identify integration risks, performance bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
• Ensure integrations comply with Workday best practices, security standards, and governance models

• Experience working in complex, integrated systems with both upstream and downstream dependencies and strong Studio experience
• Extensive experience with data conversions, including mapping, transformation, validation, and cutover support
• Strong experience with inbound and outbound integrations using REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and XSLT
• Hands‑on experience with Workday functional configuration is a strong plus
• Experience with Workday Extend is a strong plus

$70 – $120+ per hour (USD) (Contractor)
