Lead Software Engineer (.NET; Remote North Carolina and Washington

• Lead team efforts to evaluate and enhance department systems, processes, and applications
• Provide technical support for production systems by resolving complex issues and ensuring functionality
• Mentor and train associates within the work group, sharing technical expertise
• Collect and analyze data related to user requests, determining scope and system impacts
• Develop and execute test plans to validate application functionality and design modifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
• High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
• Proven experience in system enhancement and technical support
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET, SQL Scripting, and Power Shell
• Ability to resolve conflicting situations effectively

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar code repository systems
• Familiarity with Service Now or other IT service ticketing systems
• In-depth knowledge about .NET Microservices, Open Shift, and Kubernetes
• Experience as a current contractor/contingent worker for the employer
• Proven ability to lead major projects and delegate tasks effectively
