Lead testing of large-scale software systems, design and create test plans, test cases, and drive continuous improvements to quality assurance processes. Develop software tests using Java, Python, AWS Lambda, and other tools; document and coordinate deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems, including mobile device development kits and device frameworks. Design and execute automated test cases for mobile device-based GUIs using Selenium and Java.
Build quality assurance test cases and support tests for large-scale, distributed software systems. Collaborate with engineers, business owners, and customer service professionals throughout the SDLC, including requirements gathering and design. Advise project management and development teams on technical issues related to testing procedures. Sign off on test plans, test cases, and automated test cases using functional specifications. Provide regular, detailed status reports on project progress, including executed test cases, bugs discovered, and bugs fixed.
Qualifications
Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Test Developer, or a related occupation. Experience may be gained concurrently and must include:
- Two (2) years documenting and coordinating the deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems
- Two (2) years owning full test strategy through test completion for major components of a software system
- Two (2) years test automation for consumer-facing front-end applications
- Two (2) years testing across a full-stack system, including Front End, Services, or databases
- Two (2) years writing Java or Python based test automation
- Two (2) years testing in an Agile development environment
- One (1) year load testing experience
- One (1) year AWS Hydra test experience
- One (1) year Playwright test automation experience
Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience.

Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $140,525 – $160,000 per year. The position includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
