Job Description: Requirement/Must Have:
- Strong hands‑on Forge development experience for Jira Cloud at a senior delivery level.
- Proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for UI development.
- Strong experience with Jira REST APIs for automation, integrations, and data workflows.
- Working knowledge of Jira administration concepts including schemes, permissions, and issue types.
- Strong SDLC practices with Git‑based development workflows.
- 6+ years of overall development experience with recent Jira Cloud and Forge delivery.
- Developing Jira Cloud apps and extensions using Forge.
- Building UI components using React and modern frontend technologies.
- Implementing integrations and automations using Jira REST APIs.
- Delivering custom plugins and integrations for enterprise environments.
- Working in agile delivery models with sprint‑based execution.
- Develop and enhance Jira Cloud applications and extensions using Forge.
- Build user interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for Forge‑based plugins.
- Implement custom workflows, integrations, and automation using Jira REST APIs.
- Create custom plugins and integrations to support business functionality and data synchronization.
- Own deliverables end‑to‑end including estimation, development, and delivery.
- Follow development guidelines including code check‑ins and branching strategies.
- Ensure quality compliance and minimize repeat peer review findings.
- Deliver assigned Jira tickets and support iterative plugin rollouts.
- Participate in project reviews, reporting, and administrative activities.
- Provide first‑line support for issues related to delivered services.
- Programming exposure beyond JavaScript such as Java, Groovy, or Python.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as Postgres or MS SQL.
- Experience with data manipulation for integration‑heavy use cases.
- Exposure to Jira Cloud migration projects.
