Senior Software Engineer – Crypto Products
SoFi is building a new team to develop crypto products and services for our members. We need a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and ship secure, scalable services across investing, transfers, payments, custody, and more.
What You'll Do:
- Lead development and testing of system components and services, conducting code and design reviews.
- Architect product technical architecture and help shape our system design.
- Translate user stories into technical solutions and deliver highly available, scalable services.
- Mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team.
- Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies.
- Communicate with project leads, product managers, and other software developers.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or relevant work experience.
- 5+ years programming experience on a modern stack.
- Experience with Kotlin, Spring, Elixir, Postgre
SQL or similar technologies. - Strong sense of ownership; driving projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborative coding environment experience with Git, code reviews, tests, pull requests.
Nice to Haves:
- Blockchain fundamentals and distributed ledger technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with digital assets (Bitcoin, Ethereum, stable coins).
- Understanding of custody, settlement, and clearing of crypto transactions.
- Knowledge of crypto‑specific regulatory environments (SEC, CFTC, MiCA).
- Experience building services with crypto infrastructure providers (Fireblocks, Bitgo, Zero Hash, Anchorage).
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $128,000 – $240,000 annually. Eligible for bonus, long‑term incentives, and comprehensive benefits. View full benefits here.
