ENGINEERING

At onX, our Engineering team builds the technology that powers our innovative outdoor navigation apps. We work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity are highly valued. Our engineers tackle challenges across multiple platforms and domains, delivering dynamic and reliable experiences to our users.

WHERE TEAM MEMBERS ARE LOCATED

Location requirements will vary by role and will be detailed in the specific job postings. For many of our Engineering roles, remote work is available from any state where onX is a registered employer. We currently support remote work across 25+ states.

Our headquarters are in Missoula and Bozeman, MT, with Basecamp locations across the U.S. We bring our passion for technology and the outdoors to work every day, aiming to inspire others to explore the wild.

Basecamps are remote clusters where fully remote onXers gather for work and adventure. Currently, our Basecamps are located within a 90-mile radius of the following cities:

* Austin, TX

* Denver, CO

* Minneapolis, MN

* Portland, OR

* Salt Lake City, UT

* Seattle, WA

HOW YOU'LL BE COMPENSATED

Compensation details will be job-specific and outlined in individual postings.

onX is committed to compensating all employees fairly and equitably for their contributions. The pay range for any position will vary based on experience, skills, certifications, and education among other factors as required in the job description. In addition, full-time onX employees are eligible for a grant of common share options with a vesting schedule and a potential annual bonus of 10% based on company performance.
