Senior Full Stack Engineer

Clerie – Provo, UT (Hybrid)

Clerie is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer who thrives in a startup environment and enjoys solving complex technical problems. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Provo, UT
, with some flexibility for remote work.

This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands modern AI-assisted development workflows and how different systems interact across a full-stack architecture. You will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and smashing bugs quickly
, improving system reliability, and helping evolve our platform as we scale.

You will work across the stack to design, build, and maintain key components of Clerie’s platform while collaborating with a small, highly motivated team. The ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and excited about owning problems from discovery through resolution.

• Developing and maintaining full-stack web applications for Clerie’s platform
• Rapidly identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex bugs and system issues
• Working across frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure to ensure smooth system interactions
• Leveraging AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate development and debugging
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to design and ship new features
• Improving performance, reliability, and maintainability of the platform
• Contributing to architectural decisions as the product and team scale

• Strong experience in Full-Stack Development
  , including modern front-end frameworks and backend systems
• Proven ability to debug complex systems and rapidly identify root causes of issues
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar
  , and a strong understanding of how these tools integrate into development workflows
• Solid understanding of how distributed systems, APIs, databases, and frontend applications interact
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Experience working in startup environments or small, fast-moving teams
• A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of issues and drives them to resolution
• Experience building secure and compliant systems (healthcare or HIPAA environments is a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
