What you’ll be doing:

• Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) withafocus on surpassing customer expectations,achieving high quality,andensuringon-time delivery.

• Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms andmechanisms.

• Understandcomplex products, solutions, and problems.

• Create, document,andexecutesoftware designs, which may involve significant re-architecture of important systems,as well as defining and coordinatingtheimplementation of wide-reaching impacts.

• Actastechnicalleadformajor projects within one area of a product.

• Frequentlyconsultwith customers regarding future upgrades and products.
  
  Influencethe technical direction for one area of a product.

• Promoteinnovation through the ability to introduce new technology and knowledge into at least one area of a product and to our people.

• Provide high-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis.

• Provide problem resolution and technical leadership for the group.

• Possessbroad knowledge of internal operating systems,applicationimplications and customer areas.

• Serve as a technical leadin guiding junior engineers.

• Workwithout supervision on highly complex projects with complete latitude for independent judgment and technical expertise.
  
  Maintain extensive knowledge of the field.

What you’ll bring:

• A Master’s degreeor PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace,Automotive, or arelated domain

• Extensive experience in developing
  
  FEA/CAE-based applications or software such as Simcenter Femap, Simcenter 3D, Hyper Mesh, Ansys, Patran, Abaquspre/post,or equivalent.

• Hands-on experience as a CAE engineerin the aerospace, shipbuilding,or spacedomainsis a plus.

• Expertise in C++ and desktop application development. Experience working with Windows UIframeworks,including MFCandWinUI is a plus.

• Self-starter:
  
  Ability to quickly learn newtechnologiesand frameworks.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical andtroubleshootingskills.

• Ability to prioritizetasksin a complex, fast-paced environment.

• Experience workingwithagile methodologies.

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.
