The Azure Developer will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and compliant cloud‑native applications on Microsoft Azure to support healthcare platforms. The role demands strong experience with healthcare data, regulatory compliance (HIPAA), and interoperability standards, along with modern Dev Ops and microservices practices.

• Design and develop cloud-native applications using Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Logic Apps, and API Management.
• Build and deploy microservices-based architectures using .NET / Java / Python.
• Implement RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions for healthcare systems integration.

• Work with protected health information (PHI) ensuring compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and organizational security standards.
• Develop and integrate solutions using HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
• Support healthcare use cases such as member/patient portals, claims processing, care management, analytics, and interoperability platforms.

• Integrate with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Data Factory, and messaging services (Service Bus, Event Grid).
• Enable secure data ingestion from EMRs/EHRs, payer systems, and third‑party healthcare platforms.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Actions.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform) for repeatable deployments.
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC), managed identities, Key Vault, and encryption for healthcare workloads.

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and compliance teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support.
• Produce clear technical documentation aligned to healthcare audit requirements.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure (minimum 3+ years).
• Proficiency in .NET / C#, Java, or Python.
• Experience with Azure PaaS and serverless services.
• Experience with containers, Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, and security.

• Minimum 3+ years in Healthcare IT projects (payer/provider/life sciences).
• Hands‑on experience handling PHI data and regulated healthcare environments.
• Practical exposure to FHIR / HL7 integrations and healthcare data workflows.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional healthcare teams.
• Ability to work in regulated, audit‑driven environments.

• Experience with Azure Databricks / Analytics / Power BI in healthcare analytics.
• Exposure to AI/ML or Azure OpenAI in healthcare use cases (care insights, analytics).
• Experience supporting payer platforms (claims, eligibility, utilization management) or provider systems (EHR, clinical apps).
