Aboutthe Role
The Land team is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer to develop and maintain new systems and implement improvements to existing systems and processes. The position is located in Austin, TX and offers a schedule of Monday to Thursday in the office and the option to work from home on Friday.
Responsibilities- Maintain and improve existing systems
- Develop and maintain database design and SQL scripts
- Apply software design patterns, sound quality management methods, tools, and techniques to create and support defect‑free application software that meets the needs of the organization with high reusability and maintainability
- Leverage AI‑Assisted development tools to accelerate implementation, refactoring, and test creation, while ensuring correctness, security, and maintainability through strong engineering judgment
- Write thorough unit tests to ensure the quality of the software you own
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college/university
- 3+ years of development experience in a production environment
- Strong proficiency using C#, .NET Development
- Deep understanding and experience using SQL
- Experience with software testing (Unit, Integration, Functional, Performance)
- String grasp of AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Microsoft CoPilot or similar) to improve developer productivity
- Experience working within an Agile team environment
- Understanding and knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns
- Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas within and across teams
- Ability to work well with other developers and management
- Experience with Visual Studio, SSMS, and Azure Dev Ops or Git
- Experience with AWS and Open Search/Elasticsearch
- Experience architecting systems using C#, .NET Development
