The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in front‑end technologies, a strong understanding of system integrations, and experience collaborating with both in-house teams and outsourcing partners. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will architect and implement intuitive user interfaces and manage the integration of Next.js
components, APIs, AI models, and CMS systems to deliver a seamless web experience for home buyers.
- Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications with a focus on scalable, high‑performance front‑end interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices.
- Build scalable front‑end interfaces using React/Next.js and robust back‑end services with Node.js and .NET, leveraging RESTful APIs and Graph
QL. - Leverage AI tooling to enhance productivity.
- Contribute to system architecture and design, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Participate in technical design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure software quality.
- Identify and resolve defects and performance issues through thorough code reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high‑quality features.
- Engage in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot incidents and provide timely resolutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and guiding their growth.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and proactive problem‑solving.
- Own features or projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, refactoring, or technical enhancements.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to the team’s evolving direction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–7 years of software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on front‑end development.
- Proven experience building scalable applications with Next.js, including front‑end interfaces and API/Graph
QL routing. - Strong familiarity with Headless CMS platforms, Digital Asset Management systems, and responsive front‑end development.
- Comfortable working in agile environments, adapting to evolving requirements and priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and a detail‑oriented, ownership‑driven mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
- Self‑starter with a passion for technology, continuous learning, and driving projects forward with minimal supervision.
- Committed to delivering high‑quality, secure, and maintainable software solutions with professionalism and accountability.
- Hands‑on experience with .NET, Node.js, Python, microservices architecture, and API design.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience integrating applications into CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, and version control automation.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, Graph
QL, and database design for both SQL and No
SQL systems.
This is primarily a sedentary office position that requires operating computer equipment, speaking, hearing, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and moving up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
Remote WorkingThe role is primarily remote. Candidates who reside within a 50‑mile radius of Irving, TX or Miami, FL, or within commuting distance of any Lennar hub, are expected to work onsite at least three days per week, or as directed by their manager.
