About the Role & TeamWe’re looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join the Core Analytics team, the group behind our flagship analytics product loved by thousands of product teams worldwide.
As a Staff Engineer, you will work with Product Management and Design to generate and turn novel ideas for solving customer problems into engineering solutions, drive business impact through owning the end‑to‑end delivery of projects, get involved in performance optimization and scaling, lead high‑leverage projects, mentor other engineers, and contribute to the success of the team.

- Have a strong critical thinking and problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail
- Get involved in performance optimization and scaling efforts
- Drive business impact through leading the highest‑leverage projects
- Have interest or experience in technical leadership of an engineering team
- Mentor and contribute to the success of other engineers on the team
- 7+ years of experience building and improving robust, scalable backends and developing interactive, user‑facing applications or websites
- Understand the whole stack and flow of user‑facing web applications
- Back end experience with application backends, microservices, and supporting high‑throughput ingestion systems
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of successful delivery and execution
- Synthesize customer input and architectural knowledge to create an outsized engineering impact
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to changing requirements
- Constant desire to learn and grow in the field of web development
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines
- Strong practitioner of automated testing
- Interest or experience in technical leadership of an engineering team

CompensationBase salary ranges vary by location:
Colorado $198,000 - $299,000;
New York City $220,000 - $331,000;
San Francisco Bay Area $220,000 - $331,000;
California outside Bay Area $198,000 - $299,000;
Washington state $198,000 - $299,000. Total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission) and equity are also provided. Additional benefits include unlimited PTO, 10–13 holidays, medical, dental, and vision PPO and CDHP plans, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
