The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on experience designing and building Boomi integration processes and listeners to facilitate reliable data exchange between the main application and its boundary systems.

This individual must be well versed in Boomi best practices, internal development standards, deployment management, and environment extensions, and will be expected to produce thorough technical design documentation for all interfaces in scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Boomi integration processes and listeners to support data exchange between the main volumetric accounting application and its boundary systems.
  • Implement integrations using a variety of Boomi connector types including HTTP/REST, SFTP, Disk, Database, and SOAP/Web Services.
  • Adhere to and help enforce internal Boomi development standards and industry best practices for process design, error handling, logging, and document management.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical design documents for all integration interfaces in scope.
  • Perform thorough unit testing and end‑to‑end integration testing of all Boomi processes prior to deployment.
  • Debug and troubleshoot integration issues across environments using Boomi process reporting, logs, and monitoring tools.
  • Manage Boomi process deployments and configure environment extensions across development, test, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and boundary system owners to gather and validate integration requirements.
  • Participate in design and architecture reviews, providing input on integration patterns, data mapping, and error‑handling strategies.
  • Share experience and advise on Boomi best practices with project team members.
  • Transition integration assets, process documentation, and operational runbooks to the Targa Systems Support team for long‑term sustainment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Dell Boomi Atom Sphere integration platform.
  • Proficiency with Boomi connector types including HTTP/REST, SFTP, Disk, Database, and SOAP/Web Services.
  • Strong command of Boomi process design best practices including error handling, try/catch patterns, process logging, document caching, and branching/decision logic.
  • Demonstrated experience with Boomi deployment management and environment extension configuration across multiple environments (Dev, Test, Prod).
  • Proven ability to create and maintain technical design documents for integration interfaces.
  • Strong debugging and testing skills using Boomi process reporting, audit logs, and test execution tools.
  • Experience integrating with relational databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Solid understanding of common data formats including XML, JSON, CSV.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Boomi Professional Developer or Boomi Associate Developer certification.
  • Experience with Boomi API Management, Boomi Master Data Hub, or Boomi Flow.
  • Familiarity with Midstream industry, NGL/Gas pipeline operations, or volumetric accounting and measurement systems.
  • Experience on projects using Agile methodology.
