IT Architect – Card Management (Jacksonville, FL)

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks IT Architects – Card Management in Jacksonville, FL to develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through product management and/or client representatives. Interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Train and communicate with clients on systems application. Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or internet-related computer programs (Code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially).

Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

Train and communicate with internal client training, client relationship and sales teams on systems application. Responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets and schedules and for documenting work and results. Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: leading technology direction for multiple projects and led or presented architecture concepts for clients; serving as an application development system designer and technical lead; working with relational and hierarchical databases including Microsoft SQL server (relational), JSON & XML (hierarchical);

utilizing modern software application technologies including C# .Net, .Net Core Web API (REST), SQL Server, JavaScript, VBScript, Perl, C++, and Web Services; designing and implementing applications including Batch Processing, Database design & development, Functional Architecture Design, API Integration Services, Workflow Automation tools, and Cloud based applications. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
