As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll be a hands‑on contributor to the quality and reliability of our healthcare technology platforms – including core software and newly developing systems utilizing the latest technologies. You’ll design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks, working closely with cross‑functional teams to validate integrations, user flows, and data integrity. BriefDescription
This role is eligible for a hybrid or remote work arrangement. Candidates located near the company office may be expected to work onsite up to 2 days per week. Remote employees may be required to travel to an office location based on business needs.
Responsibilities- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable deployments across development and production environments.
- Validate distributed workflows, asynchronous messaging, and service-to-service integrations across cloud‑native systems.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks to support regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Validate role‑based access, data privacy, and workflow orchestration for various user types (claims adjusters, account managers, external clients, supervisors).
- Test real‑time data exchange, notifications, and document access for accuracy and security.
- Ensure HIPAA‑compliant access controls, audit logging, and data privacy across all features.
- Collaborate with Dev Ops and product teams to validate infrastructure changes, deployment processes, and environment configurations.
- Design and execute tests validating tenant isolation, authorization boundaries, and secure cross‑system data handling.
- Contribute to performance, load, and reliability testing for high‑scale healthcare transaction processing systems.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–6 years of QA engineering experience, with a strong focus on test automation for web applications and APIs.
- Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, XUnit, NUnit, Pytest, or similar technologies.
- Strong experience testing cloud‑native applications and distributed systems within AWS or similar cloud environments.
- Experience validating REST APIs, asynchronous integrations, webhooks, and event‑driven workflows.
- Familiarity with API testing tools and patterns (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure development practices.
- Understanding of role‑based access, data privacy, and compliance (HIPAA).
- Experience with healthcare platforms, claims processing, or regulated industries is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development.
- Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without current or future employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
