Senior Golang Architect & Tech Lead – Onsite Tucson

An Advanced Software Engineer (Golang) opportunity for a seasoned engineer who is ready to take ownership of architecture, lead through mentorship, and stay at the leading edge of modern software practice in a mission‑driven environment.

• Develop, test, deploy, and operate fully integrated software solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for modern integration between internal applications and third‑party services.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, stakeholders, and vendors across the team.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively and work shoulder to shoulder with senior team members.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them grow in their craft.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies, and bring innovative ideas back into the team.
• Operate with minimal direction in a self‑starting, ownership‑driven culture.

• Strong working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and modern software design patterns and data layers.
• A passion for building internal solutions and owning enterprise‑wide application development.
• Proven experience designing and building quality APIs for internal and external products.
• Experience integrating internal and third‑party services into a cohesive solution.
• Proficiency in modern software engineering practices around testability, readability, and maintainability.
• Demonstrated ability to design software architectures that meet functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Track record of technical leadership and mentorship of junior engineers.
• Cloud computing experience, particularly AWS.
• Experience automating enterprise workflows.
• Dev Ops and cloud tooling:
  Git Lab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker, Kubernetes, PIP.

This position is located onsite at the client’s Tucson, AZ office. Remote work and telework are not available for this role.
