Senior UI Engineer - AI Tools & Templates; Remote

Overview

We are looking for a senior full-stack developer to help build scalable template systems, developer tooling, and AI-powered workflows used across Adobe product teams. This role is highly focused on developer experience, reusable architecture, API integrations, and modern AI tooling.

• Design and build reusable template systems for common prototyping and AI workflow patterns
• Define scaffolding structures and starter templates for APIs, AI agents, and frontend applications
• Build and maintain integrations with internal Adobe APIs and third-party platforms
• Develop tooling including CLIs, build systems, scaffolding frameworks, and AI skills/agents
• Create frontend components and configuration interfaces using React and Lit
• Build Node.js backend services for template generation, API proxying, and integrations
• Improve onboarding flows and overall developer experience
• Write technical documentation and implementation examples
• Identify workflow friction points and propose scalable engineering improvements

• Strong full-stack development experience with React and Node.js
• Hands-on experience working with AI/LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic
• Experience building developer tooling including CLIs, scaffolding systems, template engines, or build tools
• Strong API integration experience including REST, Graph
  
  QL, authentication, rate limiting, and error handling
• Advanced JavaScript/Type Script expertise with modern async patterns and npm ecosystem
• Experience designing reusable systems and scalable frontend/backend architecture
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Experience collaborating closely with product, platform, and design teams

• Experience with component libraries, design systems, or frontend infrastructure
• Familiarity with Figma or strong design sensibility
• Experience with serverless architecture or containerization
• AWS experience
• Familiarity with Adobe APIs

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Equivalent practical experience, Git Hub contributions, or strong portfolio also considered

• Pay Rate: $100.00 to $105.63 per hour
