The Request Processing organization is tasked with building the next generation of services to process customer request metadata, providing logging and eventing solutions to S3 customers. As a Software Development Engineer you will contribute to key development projects integrating with S3 APIs, processing hundreds of trillions of transactions per month. You will build and enhance new services using distributed micro‑services architectures, pattern recognition, and machine learning techniques to efficiently analyze requests at the massive scale of S3.

Engineers on this team should have strong technical skills, a passion for learning, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates to deliver high‑quality solutions for our customers.

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered, multi‑threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is  –  USD annually.
